Institutional Partners
The Stélida Naxos Archaeological Project is undertaken with permission from the KA’ (21st) Ephoreia of Prehistoric and Classical Antiquities of the Hellenic Republic’s Ministry of Culture and Sports, with particular thanks to the ephoreia’s director - and our co-director - Dr. Demetris Athanasoulis (and his predecessor Dr. Panayiotis Chatzidakis), plus our direct supervisor, Mrs. Irini Legaki.
We have also benefitted enormously from a number of friends and colleagues in terms of practical support and critical feedback, not least Manolis Margaritis the Mayor of Naxos, Yiannis Tsolakis on behalf of the Municipality of Naxos and the Cultural Organisation of Naxos, Spyros Skarkos the President of Vivlos Community, Illias Promponas and Daphne Lalayannis of Naxos Museum, plus Tom Brogan, Dieter Depnering, Dusan Mihailović, Olga Philaniotou, Curtis Runnels and Tom Strasser.
